I thrive on bringing people together to share ideas, foster collaboration, and build communities within academia and beyond. As a leader and event organiser, I have organised numerous skill development workshops, careers talks, and seven conferences that create opportunities for dialogue, skill development, and impactful scholarship.
Chair, History Lab (2024-2025)
In the final year of my PhD, I led the UK’s largest network for postgraduate historians, with over 1,500 members. In this role, I oversaw a 14-person team, developing innovative conferences and events, including the Teaching History in a Time of Crisis conference at the University of Warwick. I am also spearheading efforts to reform History Lab’s award portfolio, blog, and website, ensuring our activities respond to our members' shifting needs.Graduate Representative and Coordinator of the International Graduate Network, Southern Historical Association (2023-2025)
Representing graduate students across the UK, Europe, and the US, I co-organised events such as the 2025 Edinburgh Southern History Workshop "Coming through the Fire", a 70th Brown v. Board anniversary panel, a collaborative symposium on Reconstruction History at the University of Erfurt, multiple career and first publication talks, and special panels at the 2024 Historians of the Twentieth-Century United States Annual Conference.Seminar Co-Convenor, History Lab (2023-2024)
Organised and chaired over 15 online seminars for History Lab, on topics ranging from the Knights' Templars to London's Cricketing Writers.
